Biography

Susannah Ball is the Lab Manager in the Hohmann Lab at the Gill Institute for Neuroscience. She received a Bachelor of Science in biology, with a focus in wildlife, from Ball State University. After college, she interned at various wolf conservation and research centers. She will always have love and respect for wolves and the beautiful balance they create in their ecosystems, but decided to turn her focus on laboratory research in 2017. As both a former lab animal care technician and researcher in an endocannabinoid lab, Susannah has experience on both sides of the research operation. She is excited to continue learning about ways to effectively combat opioid addiction and find safer therapies for reducing neuropathic pain.
