Biography

Sam Mattox is an Undergraduate student in the Straiker Lab at the Gill Institute for Neuroscience. He is studying Neuroscience with minors in Chemistry and Spanish. His lab works with the endocannabinoid system, which is a newly-discovered lipid-based neuromodulatory system. Currently, Sam is working with mice to characterize the effects of chronic synthetic cannabinoid administration on exocrine gland function. He will be attending Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis next August.
