Biography

Dr. Alves Jesus is a postdoctoral fellow in the lab. He has recently earned his PhD in pharmacology from the Federal University of Paraná in Brazil, where he studied the effect of CBD in multiple neuropathic pain models. Carlos’ primary research interest is to investigate the effects of cannabinoids and their mechanisms in chronic pain, as well as potential sex differences in response to cannabinoid treatment.
