Biography

Andrea Enriquez is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Neuroscience Program. She graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso with a B.S. in Biology. During her undergraduate career, she investigated the role of the neuroimmune system in the formation of social attachments in prairie voles. Her research interest lies in the cellular mechanisms underlying the development of neurodegenerative diseases.
