Biography

Dr. Assis Ferreira is a postdoctoral fellow in the lab. She earned her Ph.D. in Health Sciences from Santa Casa de Belo Horizonte, Brazil. She has experience with animal pain models and her research has focused on drug interactions. Luanas’ research interest is to investigate different therapies for cancer pain avoiding opioid abuse.
