Biography

Ella Sodunke is an Undergraduate student in the Mackie Lab at the Gill Institute for Neuroscience. She is pursuing her Bachelor's in Neuroscience with minors in Chemistry and Molecular Life Sciences. Her research interest is in the intersection of the immune system and the nervous system in neurological disorder models. In the Mackie Lab, Ella's research focuses on the mechanisms of immune cells in the brain, including how they are influenced by environmental factors like medication, and how they may be contributing to neurodevelopment and behavioral differences in mouse models.
