Biography

Jonah Wirt is a Ph.D. student with the Hohmann Lab and 2019 graduate of Indiana University with a B.S. in Neuroscience and a B.S. in Psychology. Jonah’s main interest is the interplay between pain and addiction. In the Hohmann Lab he performs opioid self-administration research involving endocannabinoid system manipulations, and also performs neuropathic pain testing in rodent models. Jonah also studies how manipulating the endocannabinoid system can result in downstream effects that lead to anxiety and locomotor changes
